The simplest way to increase the gap between price and value is by lowering the prize purse, read that bold sentence again to see if it makes sense. Lemme break it down.

Price and value

What that means is that- The easiest way to reduce the value of your product or service is by reducing the price which you charged. Yes, I’m confident about that.

The solution is not always by reducing the price, if your product is worth the price you charged leave it that way. Those who know the value will come for you. Just charge what it’s worth!

The worse mistake you’ll ever make for your business as an entrepreneur is to charge less than the value of your product just to get more customers. Let your price equal the value you’re offering.

Remember, we not trying to stay barely above water, we are not trying to get more customers, 𝘞𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘳𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 make the most money.

If your prospect says your product is too expensive, he/she is trying to say your offer is not strong enough or the quality is not standard.

But wait, I’m not telling you to cut your customers’ necks o, do that and you’ll fail.

You must believe so deeply in your solution and you must be confident in your delivery (even though you’re not the producer)

So before you think of doing a discount, consider this factor. Especially if you’re an affiliate/online marketer like myself.

That is why you need to learn how to target the right people who can afford your product and service. This is just one of the things I teach in my training.

As a copywriter or business person, you must know this!

The most critical part of Copywriting is the research. And most times, the most overlooked by newbies.

You might not need much research if you are applying it to your business. Because you are already familiar with what you sell.

But if you are a freelance Copywriter, you’ll be doing a lot of research for your clients.

It is through thorough research.

That’s why understanding the psychology of selling and the 4Ps of Copywriting is very vital when writing your sales copy.

The more details you give, the higher the chance of selling. People tend to buy what they know very well, so you have to provide them with enough details so that they can make a more informed decision about buying your product.

A confused person can’t make a buying decision!

So in your copy, never hide any detail even though it is odd. Even though it’ll make them change their mind.

 Brutal honesty sells!

Don’t say what your product can’t do, or hide the limitations of your product.

So if you think by lying or covering some truths you’re going to make more sales, then the reverse is usually going to fall on you like an epidermis. (Don’t be like Felicia, if not people go swear for you.) Just be a truthful marketer.

  1. Don’t give fake testimonials or customer reviews.
  2. Don’t make them promises you can never fulfill.
  3. Tell your prospects what you can do and cannot do
  4. Tell your prospects if they’ll have upfront expenses after buying your product.
  5. Just be open and truthful.
